The aim of MKA Day is to support the MKA Fund, our school’s annual fund. Your support allows MKA to offer transformative educational opportunities that extend beyond what tuition alone can cover. It directly impacts every aspect of school life, from supporting academic excellence, arts, athletics, and extracurricular activities, to supporting our exceptional faculty and staff. Gifts to The MKA Fund can be designated towards specific areas of school life.

What is the importance of celebrating the Community Scholars program?

Since 1969, the Community Scholars program has awarded full MKA scholarships to students who reflect the diversity of our student body and also show academic promise and financial need. It's a commitment to ensuring that talent, not circumstance, determines who can thrive at MKA. Community Scholars enrich every classroom, team, stage, and studio they join, making our whole community stronger. This year, we're celebrating a landmark: the enrollment of our 100th Community Scholar.

Is there a minimum gift amount?

While leadership gifts are crucial for enabling MKA’s mission, every gift, regardless of the size, makes a difference. When we come together as a community, the impact is great.
