Why does my gift matter?
The MKA Fund is vital to transforming our school from good to truly exceptional. Just as tuition is essential to our financial stability, the MKA Fund is crucial for ensuring that every student receives the full MKA experience.

Gifts to The MKA Fund can be designated toward a specific area of school life. Your support is an investment in the future of every student, and that’s why we ask every family to participate. Your contributions directly support initiatives that empower our students to excel, such as innovative academic programs, faculty development, campus enhancements, and financial aid.

How can I support financial assistance on MKA Day?
There are three ways to support financial assistance at MKA. Gifts made to the MKA Fund can be designated to financial assistance, which supports our largest financial assistance program, which benefits students in grades 4-12 whose families have established financial need. 

Gifts to MKA’s Community Scholars Program help support full scholarships awarded to students who represent a racial or ethnic minority, show exceptional academic potential, embrace the values of the MKA community, and demonstrate full financial need.

Gifts to the Kimberley Fund help provide financial assistance for more than 40 female students in grades 6-12, empowering the next generation of female leadership.

Is there a minimum gift amount? 
While leadership gifts ($1,974 and above) are crucial for enabling MKA’s mission, every gift, regardless of size, makes a difference. We ask that you make your best gift to the MKA Fund. When we come together as a community, we create opportunities that empower our students and strengthen the legacy of Montclair Kimberley Academy for future generations.

What if I’ve already given to MKA?
If you’ve already given to MKA during the 2024-25 school year–thank you! If MKA is a philanthropic priority for you, we invite you to join our community in making a gift for MKA Day, bringing us closer to our goal.
